The diagram gives an overview of the structure of the consortium.
PartKommPlus consisted of seven sub-projects. Six sub-projects were active in eleven municipalities in Baden-Württemberg, Bavaria, Berlin, Hamburg, Hesse, Lower Saxony, North Rhine-Westphalia and Thuringia. One sub-project worked on participatory methods in health reporting and epidemiology.
The designs of the sub-projects reflect a diversity of municipalities, health promotion strategies, vulnerable populations, and research methods. This made it possible to examine participation in the context of municipal health promotion strategies under varying conditions.
In the municipalities, the work was carried out in cooperation with local health promotion stakeholders. This enabled the projects to be anchored structurally and to work toward sustainable change.
The individual sub-projects are presented in separate sections.
The Catholic University of Applied Sciences Berlin coordinated the consortium.
PartKommPlus was funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research in the funding stream Prevention Research. PartKommPlus participates in the network of the five funded consortia (FP2G).
PartKommPlus is a project of the German Network for Participatory Health Research (PartNet).
